Description

From what I can tell when I have measured the update frequencies of stats.log it's always ticks one second too early. We are using 30 sec interval but it's updated after 29 seconds. It's lagging behind 2 seconds for each minute.

This might be important in some cases such as when you are reading statistics using statsd and when you need to know the update interval.
