I migrate pfSense from an Hp Pavillion a6242N to a Mac Mini server 2011; however, Suricata would not run and when I checked there were no file in /etc/suricata/suricata.yaml nor /var/log/suricata...how could that be?
Now, the migration was from an igb interface to a bge interface and I restored pfSense configuration (igb).
