Description

It might be helpful to gather the amount of packets and/or bytes of specific app protocols. So for example app-layer.pkts.smb and app-layer.bytes.smb which can be postprocessed to get a better insight on the traffic composition on deployments. If that has a noticeable impact on performance it should be optional.
