i tried downloading emerging threads it is working fine,but when i tried to download the snort rules VRT rule set ia m getting invalid url rule it is showing....
i have registered to snort.org and used these urls
1)url=https://www.snort.org/rules/snortrules-snapshot-2976.tar.gz?oinkcode=<mine olinkcode>
incorect url
but wget is working with this url
2) http://www.snort.org/pub-bin/oinkmaster.cgi/<mine oinkcode>/snortrules-snapshot-2976.tar.gz
this url doesnot exist
i think oinkmaster support for vrt rule set but it throwing error!!!11

Sounds like you need to talk to the Snort/Talos ppl. This ticket system is about Suricata.
