Description

Currently we shorten XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to XXXX..XXXX. In some other places I noticed ~ being used, which would be more compact: XXXX~XXXX.

Hi Comfort, sorry for not seeing your question earlier. From what I can tell, this would be about replacing iface output that looks like XXXX..XXXX for the format XXXX~XXXX which is a bit more compact.

This might also involve checking for cases that require shortening but aren't, so far, but that could be a secondary step, if at all needed.
