Description
Using a Rust-backed configuration tree will allow us to use more feature-rich YAML parsers, as well as schema validation, without introducing C-side dependencies. And generally, a nicer interface for working with such data structures.
I consider this a prerequisite for most of the configuration enhancements we have planned.
