Description

4.1 will have a much better DNS EVE record type. There are no plans to update the text dns.log output.

Might be a good time to start thinking about removing it.

My idea would be to remove it in 5.0.

This will happen naturally with the removal of the C based DNS parser as this output has not been implemented in Rust. Issue #2850.
